The Essence of House of Sodesii
Our story
Travelling to interiors of India, sourcing exquisite collection of handloom sarees, suits and dupattas directly from the weavers for today’s modern women.
House of Sodesii is not just an online store selling sarees. It is my fruit of labour, travelling to places where the sarees are made, meeting the weavers, buying 100% handloom sarees in design very traditional, but in colours that today’s modern women like to wear. It is about choosing fabrics that are easy to drape, where the tradition of tying a saree is slowly wearing out to ready-to-wear sarees, women need sarees that are easy to pleat. Women also need sarees that soft on skin, 100% cotton and light-weight silks. House of Sodesii, works to make the saree work and stand out for all women – office wear, casual wear or party wear.
Why just wear a plain saree, when beautiful and intricate weaves and motifs make it unique. Sarees with rabbits, flamingos, parrots, all traditionally woven in zari and Resham.
My House of sodesii story, started with a love story turned into 24X7 hard work and now, advocating women to wear more sarees. I say, choose an Indian Formal Dressing, a beautiful saree over anything else if you really had to. Simply, because it looks stunning on you!
Imagine a world, where power looms take over and the fine work of handloom is lost. Our government is encouraging weavers, artisans, craftsman of India. We as consumers should also pay attention to handloom and buy the finest work of art & craft of India.
House of Sodesii is for the modern woman with an old soul—bold in her choices, rooted in her values, and unapologetically proud of where she comes from. She’s the boardroom slayer, the festive showstopper, the everyday queen—and she deserves a saree that mirrors her power and poise.
Needless to say, Indian sarees have travelled the world. On the ramp to the streets, on Indian festivals abroad or music videos in the making, sarees have been timeless.
Together, Let’s embrace it. Buy House of Sodesii sarees.

Our Story
A Story Woven Over Chai and Conversation
It all began over chai and a casual office chat—between two women from very different worlds, connected by six yards of shared love.
One was bold and seasoned—someone who wore sarees to work like a second skin. For her, sarees weren’t just attire; they were comfort, confidence, and pride.
The other was younger, raised in a home where sarees were heirlooms—her grandmother’s gentle folds, her mother’s effortless grace. In her world, sarees weren’t fashion; they were emotion.
That conversation led to two questions—
“Why don’t we see more women embracing sarees today?”
“Where did the handwoven magic go?”
And that’s how House of Sodesii was born—
A brand woven with stories, not just threads.
A movement to bring handloom back into our wardrobes and hearts—not as occasion wear, but as everyday joy.
At House of Sodesii, we don’t just sell sarees.
We revive heritage, empower weavers, and celebrate every woman’s story.
Choose a saree not out of formality, but out of joy.
Wear it to a meeting, a brunch, or simply because you feel like a queen on a Tuesday.
Because when you drape a House of Sodesii saree, you don’t just wear a saree—
you wear a story, a legacy, and a little bit of your own magic.
So come, be part of this woven revolution.
Let’s make sarees personal again.
Let’s make handloom haute again.
Let’s make tradition trend again.
