Every so often, a piece comes along that doesn't just fit the collection — it feels like it was designed for it.

The moment we saw it, the color story stopped us: a rich combination that isn't quite maroon, isn't quite brown — somewhere between the two, with magenta woven through it, against warm yellow. It's not an exaggeration to say it looks like it was pulled straight from House of Sodesii's own palette. It wasn't. It's simply what genuine natural-dye handloom color combinations look like when they're done right.
Built entirely in mushroom silk and soft silk
The border on this saree is woven completely in mushroom silk — a subtle, muted silk tone that lets the color combination take center stage rather than competing with it. The meenakari work carries that same mushroom silk thread throughout, paired with tissue zari for a soft, understated shine rather than a loud metallic finish.
The rest of the saree follows the same logic: soft silk meenakari work running across the entire piece, woven from the same fabric family throughout. Nothing here is mixed in for effect — every element, from the border to the fine embroidery-like detailing, comes from a single, consistent material story.
Why this matters
It's easy to describe a saree in terms of color and pattern.
